Norwalk Woman Found Asleep In Wilton Commuter Parking Lot Under Influence, Police Say

A Fairfield County woman asleep behind the wheel with her hazard lights blinking in a commuter parking lot was allegedly under the influence and had to be hospitalized, police said.

Officers from the Wilton Police Department spotted a parked car running at the commuter parking lot on Danbury Road at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23. 

Police said the car was running at the intersection of Danbury Road and Wolfpit Road with its lights on and hazard lights blinking.

According to police, the driver, Norwalk resident Megan Davis, was found asleep in the driver’s seat with several 1.5-ounce bottles of alcohol around her. 

She was woken up and “exhibited several signs of intoxication,” before failing multiple standardized field sobriety tests.

Davis, 35, was arrested and transported to Norwalk Hospital for medical treatment. 

Davis is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Thursday, March 5 for arraignment.
